Scientist, Educator, and Community Coordinator
Alexandria C. Moore
Environmental conservation and social justice are the core of the work that I am most passionate about.
An ecosystem ecologist by training, I have spent my time as a researcher and educator making room for diversity and inclusion in the classroom and in the field of environmental science.
Community engagement is essential for the environmental movement and it is through my work that I hope to bridge this gap.
MAKING THE ENVIRONMENT MATTER
Environmental science and conservation often focus on issues at the global scale.
But the environment exists in backyards, in neighborhoods, and in communities.
Through diverse, inclusive, and equitable engagement, I work to foster change in how we view and value the environment, one person at a time.
